TOPIC: Trisul Filling Disk

Trisul Filling Disk 8 years 3 months ago #4044

/usr/local/var/lib/trisul/CONTEXT0/caps/oper starts collecting RCF files...to the point they fill the volume and the systems craps out.

Any suggestions on how to get around this other than have TB's worth of storage?

I am new to the product and have it running as a POC to make sure it suits our needs before we commit to it.

thanks in advance for any help.

Hi -

Apologies for the late reply.

The files in RCF_ are the raw capture files. By default with the 3-day Rolling License only 10GB are stored when monitoring live traffic. How much disk space do you have available ?

You can disable this feature by the following steps.

1. Open /usr/local/etc/trisul/trisulConfig.xml
2. Set <Ring> <Enabled> to FALSE .. it should look like this
<Ring>
<Enabled>False</Enabled>

Once again sorry for the late reply. Please reply or email at info at unleashnetworks.com for any help or questions.
